The Sindacato Nazionale Scrittori and Biblit supported the campaign in a very special way. They were present at the National Bookfair which took place in Rome in December. The poster was drawn by the seven-year-old Nives. It mentioned the address of the campaign and made aware that books don’t grow on trees. They offered to all the visitors of the fair a small bag of flower seeds and bulbs with the slogan 'I libri non crescono sugli alberi' written on it.
Some days before Christmas, they also sent a small tree to the Italian Minister of Culture Francesco Rutelli, along with an official letter signed by Sindacato Nazionale Scrittori asking for more attention to the problems of the Italian writers and translators.
